While both systems maintain homeostasis, how does the nervous system differ from the endocrine system?

Nervous system is much more systematic because the impulses are passed as messages through the neurons. The process and the response are very rapid. Endocrine system, on the other hand, is wide range. The process is slow and the effect is long-lasting.
