What was the main issue of the Constitutional Convention?

The main issue of the Constitutional Convention was the drafting, amending, or writing of a constitution for the newly formed United States of America. The colonies had been run based upon the Articles of Confederation which were found to be greatly flawed which required a revisiting of the document through the convention where a new document was to be written.
