standard form is: y=mx + b m is the slope so you have to find the slope by using the (y-y1)/(x-x1) formula: (1-1)/((2- -4) = 0/(6) = 0 b is the y-intercept where the equation crosses the y-axis.  You just have to put x as 0 and insert the point into the equation to solve for b. 1 = 0 + b so b equals 1 standard form: y = 1
