velocity has to be in m/s
radius has to be in m
radius = 385,000 km = 385,000,000 m
velocity = 1030 m/s
so...
centripetal acceleration = v^2/r
=> [(1030m/s)^2]/385,000,000m
=> 0.0027 m/s^2
