Hello :  (2x+3)²+8(2x+3)+11 =0 let : 2x+3 = t t²+8t+11=0 delta = 8²-4(1)(11)=20=(√20)²=(√(4×5))² =(2√5)² t= (-8 ± 2√5)/2 t = - 4 ± √5 but :   2x+3 = t if t =-4- √5 2x+3 = -4-√5 2x=-4-3-√5 x=(-7-√5)/2 if t =-4- √5 x= (-7+√5)/2
