The seven deadly sins are: pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth. Envy = the desire to have an item or experience that someone else possessesGluttony = excessive ongoing consumption of food or drinkGreed = an excessive pursuit of material possessionsLust = an uncontrollable passion or longing, especially for sexual desiresPride = excessive view of one's self without regard to others.Sloth = excessive laziness or the failure to act and utilize one’s talentsWrath = uncontrollable feelings of anger and hate towards another person. In the Christian tradition they are sins that go against what God wants.
