The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 364 feet. If the length of the garden is 99 feet, what is its width?

The length is 99 feet... . MAKE AN EQUATION!! . It's for your own good, remember!! :P . (2 x width) + (2 x 99) = 364. . Simplify!! . (2 x width) + 198 = 364. . FURTHER simplify. . P=2(L+W) P=364 L=99 sub and find W 364=2(99+W) divide both sides by 2 182=99+w subtract 99 from both sides 83=W w=83ft
