Let, y= -2x + 19 ----->(1 ) y= x + 7 -------->(2) By putting the value of y from equation (2) at equation (1), we get, x+7 = -2x + 19 => 3x = 12 => x = 4 from equation (2) we get , y = 11 Answer : (x, y) = (4, 11) .
