# PLEASE HELP! I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!!!! The table shows a quadratic variation. A-Determine the constant of variation B-Write an equation for the quadratic variation. x- 2 4 6 8 y- 2 8 18 32

quadratic means 2nd degree I'm thinking y=ax² when x=2, y=2 when x=4, y=8 so 2=a2² and 8=a4² or 2=4a and 8=16a easy divide first equation by 4 and 2nd by 16 to get 1/2=a then $y= \frac{1}{2}x^2$ A. I would say 1/2 is constant B. is$y= \frac{1}{2}x^2$
