In politics today, the focus may at times be on the good looks of the candidate or other aspects of his/her personality. Should the focus be on other things? If so, what do you think voters should consider when researching the candidates? What questions should they ask?

Yes because you don't need to focus 100% on their personality you should focus on the good deeds they have done.  They should consider if they are community friendly, or police friendly because many communities and police officers have a huge influence on politics and they should ask questions like "Was right to do this" or "Should I have done that" like if you were them. I might be wrong
