In a triangle the measure of the first angle is twice the measure of the second angle. The measure of the third angle is 12 degrees less than the second angle. What is the measure of each angle

2nd angle is hmm "a" degrees, whatever that is, the 1st angle is twice that much, 2 * a or 2a, the 3rd angle is whatever "a" is, less 12, or a -12, now... (2a) + (a) + (a - 12) = 180, solve for "a", to see what the second angle is, and then, use that to get the 1st and 3rd one
