HELP! Write a two-step equation that involves multiplication and subtraction, includes a negative coefficient, and had a solution of x= 7

-2x - 12 = -26. To solve, you must first add 12 to both sides, so now you equation looks like this: -2x = -14. Multiplying both sides by 1/2 (or divide by 2, but in case, divide), and we get -x = -7, and when we multiply each side by -, we get x= 7. I know this isn't perfect, but it's the best I can do. The "subtraction" part comes in when we "subtract/add" -26 + 12. I'm not sure if that counts. And I'm not sure that when we multiply both sides by 1/2 counts too. Sorry! I hope this helps anyway! :D
