Crossbreeding between Bison and Cattle is a benefit as it will allow the Bison to acquire desirable traits from cattle and vice versa resulting in increased diversity in Cattle and hybrid vigor while on the other hand the genepool of the Bison will become mixed with that of the Cattle so the pure diversity of Bison will decrease.
