Corey needs to buy 24 boards that are 47 1/2 inches long. If you can only buy 8-foot boards, how many should he buy? Explain.

First of all, you need to see how many inches are in 8 feet. Once you get that, you need to multiply 47 1/2 by 24. ( Remember if you are using a calculator make 47 1.2 into 47.5).  After you get the number you multiply how many inches there are in 8 feet by whatever number until you get the sum of 47.5 and 24 or a little over it.  Make sure to tell me what you got to see if it's correct or not.
