210 x 300 = 36000 x 2 = 126000 126000 is your answer

First you have to convert feet to yards so the dimensions are changes to 70 yd by 100 yd. Multiply 70 x 100 to find the area which is 700 yd²  Then set up a proportion where x is equal to the number of birds in the whole field: [latex] \frac{2 birds}{1 yd} = \frac{x birds}{700yd} [/latex] Cross multiply to get x = 1400. Therefore there are 1,400 birds in the field.
