12x=4x+16 how do I solve this using f(x)?? I started like this..(pic)

First you move 4x to the other side (get both the variables together and leave the regular number alone) To do this you need to subtract 4x on both sides. This cancels out 4x on the right side and on the left side 12x-4x=8x So now you have 8x=16, you then divide 8 on both sides, 16/8 and you get your final answer x=2. You should use the app Photomath, I use it all the time for my algebra questions, it's a life saver!
